Introducing Dr Kim Balas

Dr. Kim Balas is the Clinical Director for the Hughes Center of Excellence, the Research and Innovation division of Synergy Worldwide.  Conducting clinical research and providing data for herbal formulations in global markets are a few of the many projects that are on her priority list.  Serving with a dedication and passion to science, Dr. Balas is very heavily involved with education, product and software development.

Dr Balas is a board certified naturopathic physician with a PhD in Bio-Resource Engineering from Georgia Tech University and also holds a PhD in Nutrition from Stanford University. She has a previous background in aerospace engineering while working for NASA at Cape Canaveral, Florida.

With over 25 years of clinical experience in complimentary medicine, as a consultant, educator and herbal medicine expert, Dr. Balas is dedicated to the advancement of product development and has an innate resonance with cutting-edge, clinically relevant formulations.

She is known for providing clinical and scientific consult to many areas of natural health both nationally and internationally.  Here influence includes software development, data analysis, clinical consulting for hospitals, equipment development, speaking, teaching and writing.

Dr Balas is also the author of several publications, including The Women's Guide to Natural Hormones.
